This morning, I woke up with a heavy heart, filled with thoughts of the extraordinary life and work of Group Captain Dr. Sam Annankra. The story begins on a serene Tuesday evening back in 2005. I was granted the privilege to join Dr Annankra for a fellowship that would forever change my life. The details of the sermon have faded from my memory, but what happened afterwards remains vivid. Dr. Annankra, a towering figure of strength and compassion, approached me. With a warm smile, he inquired about my name and a few other details, and then he delivered a message that would resonate in my soul: "You must develop the ability to convey the gospel in just 5 minutes to inspire people to make a decision for Christ." He repeated this divine mandate without further explanation and gracefully walked away.
The same heavenly guidance was repeated the following Saturday after our meeting. Those two encounters have remained with me, ceaselessly inspiring fresh insights and revelations.

Congregations now favour shorter services, and people allocate less time to the Word of God. Pastors who preach for too long risk losing their flock. The era of 5-minute sermons seems to be dawning.

Just as the words of Dr Annankra linger in my heart, countless souls will carry those sacred words within, forever pursuing their divine purpose and fulfilling their earthly missions.
Great individuals continue to live on, even after their earthly journey has ended. They find eternal expression through their words. As long as their words linger in the hearts of people, their works will always be expressed on earth. Moses, David, Elijah, Paul, and our Lord Jesus Christ still live within us through the timeless wisdom they shared. Group Captain Sam Annankra, too, lives on through the sacred message that resonates in our hearts.
