"So they went through the towns, preaching the gospel and healing everywhere." – Luke 9:6
Focus Higher International (FHI), Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF), and CAPRO Missions partnered for a special three-day medical outreach in Wulensi. This outreach was part of FHI’s Go-North Missions. It celebrated 20 years of ministry. The focus was on addressing both physical and spiritual needs in neglected communities.
What Happened
The outreach took place in three communities: Gimam, Kpanyansi, and Ponayili. These areas have little access to healthcare and the Gospel. Local leaders shared that they had prayed for 13 years for a medical team to visit, making this mission an answer to their prayers.
A team of nine medical professionals provided:
Health checkups and treatment for common illnesses
Free medicines
Eye care, including free lenses
Education on how to prevent diseases
The team also shared the message of Christ, offering counselling and spiritual care to everyone who attended.
The Results
The outreach had a big impact:
Total reached: 618 people
New believers: 123 people, including 37 Muslims
Holy Spirit baptism: 21 people
Counseling sessions: 297 individuals
Despite challenges like heavy rain, the outreach ended well. People shared stories of healing and joy, thanking the team for their support.
Thank You
We want to thank everyone who helped—organizers, donors, and prayer partners. Your support made this possible. The local people were deeply touched, and lives were changed both physically and spiritually.
We encourage everyone to keep supporting missions like this. Together, we can bring help and hope to more neglected areas in need of both healthcare and the Gospel.
Thank you, and may God bless you!

The 2024 Hohoe Medical Outreach, organized by the Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF) in collaboration with Tesano Baptist Church (TBC), E3 Partners, Lakepointe Church-USA, Biblical, CEF, and the Hohoe Local Council of Churches, was a great success. The mission provided free medical care, including general consultations, eye services, dental care, and counseling, to over 1,900 people across five communities in Hohoe.
Preparation for the Outreach
The planning process began in May 2024, led by Dr. Francis Osei from E3 Partners. After an initial survey conducted by the CMRF team, a small committee was formed, including key leaders from the partnering organizations, to ensure that everything was in order for the mission. Essential medical supplies and equipment were delivered to Tesano Baptist Church on July 12, 2024. The following day, on July 13, a team of 17 volunteers embarked on their journey to Hohoe, arriving safely despite a slight delay caused by road conditions.
A Week of Service
Upon arrival, the team settled into the Leisure Cozy Hotel in Hohoe, and the outreach began with an opening ceremony. The following day, all volunteers gathered for a meeting to plan the week ahead. This meeting established a positive tone for a successful mission, as participants from CMRF, Tesano, Lakepointe, and CEF came together to strategize and prepare.
The medical outreach covered five communities: Liati Teikrom, Fodome Amele, Paloma Hohoe, Avegah Hohoe, and Galikofe Hohoe. Over the course of five days, the team provided medical care to a total of 1,965 individuals, which included 655 males and 1,310 females.
Key Services Provided

Eye Clinic: A total of 1,238 people were served, receiving eye glasses, eye drops, and surgeries.
Children’s Ministry: Over 1,500 children received salvation, and essential health items like toothpaste, toothbrushes, and deworming tablets were distributed.
The Closing Ceremony and Reflection
On July 19, after the final day of work, the outreach team held an exit meeting to reflect on the successes and challenges of the mission. A closing ceremony followed, with prayers, songs of thanksgiving, and recognition for the outstanding efforts of volunteers.
Afterwards, the team returned to Accra, with the mission marked as a significant achievement for all involved.
Looking Ahead
The success of this outreach was possible because of the generous contributions and teamwork of all partners. However, there are a few recommendations for future missions, including improving the planning timeline, ensuring sufficient counselors, and enhancing rest and meal provisions for the volunteers.
We express our heartfelt gratitude to God, our partners, and all the volunteers who made this outreach possible. This mission served as a powerful reminder of the importance of coming together to serve others. Thank you for your support, and may God continue to bless our work in His name.

It left a lasting legacy of compassion and care. Special thanks are extended to all the volunteers, sponsors, and partners who made this mission possible. REV. LEWIS FIADJOE CELEBRATES 60TH BIRTHDAY WITH ACTS OF COMPASSION FOR THE VULNERABLE
Rev. Fiadjoe also expressed gratitude to his family, friends, and supporters for their prayers and assistance in making the outreach a success. He encouraged individuals and organisations to support the less fortunate, reminding them that vulnerability is a reality anyone might face in life
Rev. Lewis Fiadjoe, the Director of Missions for the Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF) and Regional Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) for Northern Ghana, celebrated his 60th birthday in an inspiring way. With the support of CMRF and other partner organisations, he organised impactful outreach activities to bring hope and relief to the less privileged, including inmates of the Tamale Central Prison and vulnerable groups in surrounding communities.
In Sang, Mion District, Rev. Fiadjoe visited the Nazareth Home for God's Children, where he treated children to a special feast. He also distributed clothing and other essential items to approximately 110 widows in the Savelugu Municipality.
At the Tamale Central Prison, he provided food supplies and facilitated a comprehensive medical screening for the inmates. The medical outreach at the prison helped 272 people, including 222 male inmates, 10 female inmates, and 40 officers. The services included general check-ups, checking vital signs, eye tests, free medicines, and counselling.
Speaking during the outreach at the prison, Rev. Fiadjoe shared his motivation for the acts of kindness, saying it was his way of reflecting God’s love and expressing gratitude for the grace that has shaped his life. He explained that his commitment to helping the poor and marginalized stems from biblical principles, particularly the teachings of Matthew 25:35, which emphasise care for the vulnerable.
Rev. Fiadjoe further remarked that God had placed it strongly on his heart to demonstrate love to those in need as part of his 60th birthday celebration. He expressed that his life has been enriched by God’s unmerited favour, and giving back was the most meaningful way to honour that blessing.
Superintendent David Kwame Afatsawu, the Northern Regional Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service, praised Rev. Fiadjoe for his thoughtful intervention. He highlighted the significant challenges the prison faces, including a lack of learning materials, health services, and water due to a broken pumping system. He expressed hope that more philanthropic individuals and organisations would emulate such charitable efforts to address these pressing needs.

CELEBRATING 60 YEARS OF GOD'S FAITHFULNESS: The Journey of Rev. Lewis Fiadjoe
Rev Lewis Fiadjoe, CMRF Missions Director
A popular quote by Maya Angelou states, “Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.” In this profound statement, Angelou reminds us that the essence of life goes beyond mere existence or survival. A truly fulfilling life is measured by the quality of experiences that move us deeply, inspire us, and leave us in awe. In this sense, our lives should be filled with moments that bring meaning, ignite passion, and create unforgettable memories.
As I celebrate my 60th birthday on Sunday, 25th February 2024, I wholeheartedly agree with Angelou's assertion. My life has been rich with moments of passion and filled with wonderful, unforgettable memories.
My call to full-time ministry began in 1998. I resigned from my job with the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and ventured into the mission field in Builsa. This area is located in the Upper East Region of Ghana. My primary assignment was church planting. I pursued this through medical missions and by sharing the gospel using the Jesus Film in various communities.
In 2003, I transitioned from the field to serve as the Missions Director at the Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF). At that time, over 20 churches had been established in the Builsa District alone.
My work with CMRF came with significant exposure. My responsibilities as Missions Director expanded significantly. These included scouting and mapping mission sites. I worked with churches and other parachurch organisations to spread the gospel. I also led mission teams across Ghana and extended the work to parts of Togo, Benin, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, the Philippines, and Jamaica. During this time, I had the honour of serving under Group Captain Dr Sam Annankra, the founder and first President of CMRF.
In 2010, I became the Coordinator of the Faith Comes by Hearing project at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC). Two years later, in August 2012, I was appointed the Missions Director for ICGC. In this role, I had the opportunity to instil a missions-oriented mindset among church leadership, which ultimately led to a significant drive for church planting.
Following this, in May 2018, I was appointed Regional Overseer for the ICGC Northern Region. This role involves overseeing 48 churches and numerous preaching posts across the five northern regions of Ghana.
As I consider my life, I see God’s guidance, faithfulness, preservation, and divine provision. In light of this, and inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:32–36, I have decided to commemorate this milestone by visiting orphanages and prisons. I have decided to share my birthday with the less privileged. Through these visits, I hope to share the love of Christ. I also aim to bring joy to the vulnerable in society and minister the Word of God.
Join us on the 24th of February 2024 for this celebration. It is my prayer that this celebration will glorify God. May it also reflect His compassion for humanity.

KBC 2024 MEDICAL OUTREACH TAMALE
Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), Shalom Baptist Church (SBC), Lakepointe Church, Texas, and the Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF) are coming together to organise a 5-day medical outreach. This outreach will take place in selected communities in Tamale from the 9th to the 16th of March 2024.
The ministry of mercy is an important part of the church’s work. It shows God’s love through acts of kindness and care. It reminds us that our faith is not only about words but about extending compassion in tangible ways. One powerful avenue to fulfil this calling is through medical outreaches and evangelism. There is a unique joy that comes from being part of this ministry, knowing that lives are touched and hope is renewed.
In this spirit, Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), Shalom Baptist Church (SBC), Lakepointe Church, Texas, and the Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF) are joining hands to bring healing and hope to the people of Tamale. From 9th to 16th March 2024, these dedicated groups will embark on a 5-day medical outreach to selected communities in the region, extending the ministry of mercy to those in need.
During this outreach, our team will offer free medical care to those in need. This includes general check-ups, vital sign assessments, dental care, eye care, counselling, and the distribution of free medications. Each service is a way to demonstrate God’s love in action. we will also be helping to address both physical and emotional needs.
Through this initiative, we hope many will experience the boundless love of God. This love will not only be in words but also in deeds. These deeds will uplift and transform lives. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to show the heart of Christ to communities in need. We can share His healing touch with those who need it most. It is also a chance to remind others that they are not forgotten.
We invite you to join us in our mission. You can support us through prayer, donations, or active participation. Together, we can make a difference. Let us unite as instruments of God’s mercy. Let’s reach out with compassion and bring His light to those in need.
Be part of this movement. Share God’s love and be a blessing to others.

SAM ANNANKRA DAY: A Tribute to a True Hero
My encounters with him may have been brief, but the wisdom he shared remains etched in my heart. I've crossed paths with many who bear witness to his remarkable deeds. Today, on the occasion of his birthday, I am compelled to share the sacred guidance he imparted to me and the life-altering implications it holds for all of us.
Group Captain Dr Sam Annankra
Founder, Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF)
This morning, I woke up with a heavy heart, filled with thoughts of the extraordinary life and work of Group Captain Dr. Sam Annankra. His legacy has touched the lives of thousands, a testament to the profound impact a person can have on the world. Through the gospel and the gift of free medical care, he brought the boundless love of God to many, leaving behind a trail of transformed lives.
A Life-Changing Encounter
The story begins on a serene Tuesday evening back in 2005. I was granted the privilege to join Dr Annankra for a fellowship that would forever change my life. The details of the sermon have faded from my memory, but what happened afterwards remains vivid. Dr. Annankra, a towering figure of strength and compassion, approached me. With a warm smile, he inquired about my name and a few other details, and then he delivered a message that would resonate in my soul: "You must develop the ability to convey the gospel in just 5 minutes to inspire people to make a decision for Christ." He repeated this divine mandate without further explanation and gracefully walked away.
The same heavenly guidance was repeated the following Saturday after our meeting. Those two encounters have remained with me, ceaselessly inspiring fresh insights and revelations.
The Profound Relevance of Dr Annankra's Calling
A Divine Skill: Preaching within 5 minutes to lead souls to life-altering decisions is more than inspiration; it's a sacred skill and an art that must be cultivated. In many African communities, where faith in supernatural forces abounds, long hours are often devoted to converting hearts. Yet, by nurturing holistic speech and integrating skills and arts with inspiration, one can effectively convey divine truths in mere moments.
Anticipating Changing Times: Dr. Annankra's counsel appears prophetic in retrospect. In his era, lengthy church services and extended sermons were the norm. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic hastened changes that might have otherwise unfolded over the years. Congregations now favour shorter services, and people allocate less time to the Word of God. Pastors who preach for too long risk losing their flock. The era of 5-minute sermons seems to be dawning.
A Global Perspective: Dr Annankra's extensive travels and international speaking engagements endowed him with firsthand insights into the challenges faced by speakers on the global stage. These experiences likely shaped his counsel to master concise communication, ensuring that your message resonates, regardless of external factors.
The Power of Social Media: In today's digital age, messages must capture the audience's hearts within the first 60 seconds, or risk losing their attention. Effective communication in 3 to 5 minutes is paramount. This necessitates the guidance of the Holy Spirit to harness developed skills and arts, delivering messages that are powerful, concise, and life-changing.
A Legacy of Tears and Transformation
Preaching in 5 minutes is an awe-inspiring responsibility that demands the full utilization of one's abilities. Many years of study and experience may seem inconsequential in those fleeting moments. Yet, relying on the Holy Spirit to wield various skills and arts becomes paramount. This approach yields words that are few, gentle, penetrating, and profoundly impactful. Just as the words of Dr Annankra linger in my heart, countless souls will carry those sacred words within, forever pursuing their divine purpose and fulfilling their earthly missions.
Great individuals continue to live on, even after their earthly journey has ended. They find eternal expression through their words. As long as their words linger in the hearts of people, their works will always be expressed on earth. Moses, David, Elijah, Paul, and our Lord Jesus Christ still live within us through the timeless wisdom they shared. Group Captain Sam Annankra, too, lives on through the sacred message that resonates in our hearts.
Farewell to a General of the Kingdom. Your legacy lives on.
