The Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF), in collaboration with its partners, successfully conducted a medical evangelistic outreach across communities in Tamale and its surrounding areas in early 2026. This outreach reflects CMRF’s ongoing commitment to delivering holistic care through compassionate healthcare and the proclamation of the Gospel.
Communities Reached
The outreach was conducted across five communities:
Kasuliyili
Zagyuri
Changnayili
Dungu
Shishegu
These communities benefited from integrated medical and evangelistic services delivered by a dedicated team of volunteers.
Scope of Outreach
The mission mobilised over 100 volunteers from diverse professional and ministry backgrounds, working together to serve both the physical and spiritual needs of the people.
Medical Impact
Significant healthcare services were delivered to underserved populations:
1,913 individuals received general medical consultations
1,913 beneficiaries were provided with free medications by the pharmacy team
850 individuals accessed eye care services
511 received eye drops
477 received prescription spectacles
269 individuals received dental care services
These interventions addressed critical health needs and improved access to essential medical services across the communities served.
Spiritual Impact
In addition to medical care, the outreach prioritised spiritual ministry:
60 individuals experienced Holy Spirit baptism
The Gospel was shared across all communities.
