Transforming Lives Through Medical Missions in Ghana

In 2025, the Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF) advanced its mission of delivering compassionate healthcare alongside the message of the Gospel to underserved communities across Ghana.

Our 2025 Reach

CMRF conducted medical evangelistic outreaches in 15 communities across the Greater Accra, Northern, and Central Regions. These initiatives served both urban and rural populations, many of whom have limited access to quality healthcare services.

Medical Services Delivered

Through these missions, thousands of individuals received essential medical care:

  • 10,552 people received general consultations and free medication

  • 1,734 people benefited from eye care services, including screening and reading glasses

  • 775 people received dental care, including extractions and oral treatments

These interventions addressed urgent health needs and improved the quality of life across the communities served.

Holistic Care and Spiritual Impact

CMRF remains committed to a holistic approach that addresses both physical and spiritual needs:

  • Over 5,789 individuals received counselling, prayer, and pastoral support

  • At least 960 individuals made decisions for Christ

  • 17 individuals experienced Holy Spirit baptism

While medical care met immediate needs, the spiritual ministry brought lasting transformation to many lives.

These achievements were made possible through the support of dedicated partners, churches, organisations, and volunteers who contributed to planning, logistics, medical outreach, and evangelism.

The Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF), in collaboration with its partners, successfully conducted a medical evangelistic outreach across communities in Tamale and its surrounding areas in early 2026. This outreach reflects CMRF’s ongoing commitment to delivering holistic care through compassionate healthcare and the proclamation of the Gospel.

Communities Reached

The outreach was conducted across five communities:

  • Kasuliyili

  • Zagyuri

  • Changnayili

  • Dungu

  • Shishegu

These communities benefited from integrated medical and evangelistic services delivered by a dedicated team of volunteers.

Scope of Outreach

The mission mobilised over 100 volunteers from diverse professional and ministry backgrounds, working together to serve both the physical and spiritual needs of the people.

Medical Impact

Significant healthcare services were delivered to underserved populations:

  • 1,913 individuals received general medical consultations

  • 1,913 beneficiaries were provided with free medications by the pharmacy team

  • 850 individuals accessed eye care services

    • 511 received eye drops

    • 477 received prescription spectacles

  • 269 individuals received dental care services

These interventions addressed critical health needs and improved access to essential medical services across the communities served.

Spiritual Impact

In addition to medical care, the outreach prioritised spiritual ministry:

  • 60 individuals experienced Holy Spirit baptism

  • The Gospel was shared across all communities.

CMRF, in partnership with leading churches and organisations, will host a major medical evangelistic outreach in Tamale from 31 January to 7 February 2026. The mission aims to provide free healthcare services to over 2,500 people, alongside eye and dental care, while sharing the message of hope with the community.

The Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF), in partnership with E3 Partners, Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC), Shalom Baptist Church, Lakepointe Baptist Church, and Christ Apostolic Church International (CACI), will be organising a five-day medical evangelistic outreach in Tamale and its surrounding communities from 31 January to 7 February 2026.

This outreach forms part of a broader mission to deliver compassionate healthcare alongside the message of the Gospel to underserved populations.

Planned Impact

The outreach is expected to deliver essential healthcare services to thousands of beneficiaries:

  • Over 2,500 individuals will receive free medical consultations and medications.

  • More than 600 people will benefit from eye care services, including eye drops and prescription glasses.

  • Approximately 250 individuals will receive dental care, including scaling and polishing, extractions, and restorative procedures.

A Collaborative Effort

With the support of over 100 volunteers drawn from diverse professional and ministry backgrounds, this outreach represents a unified effort to serve both the physical and spiritual needs of the community.

Beyond medical care, the mission seeks to demonstrate the love of Christ in practical ways, offering hope, compassion, and the message of salvation to all participants.

LA Medical Outreach with Perez Chapel International (PCI) - Revival Temple

La Medical Outreach Impact

The Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF), in partnership with Perez Chapel International – Revival Temple, La, successfully conducted a transformative medical evangelistic outreach, delivering both healthcare and the Gospel to the community. Over 380 individuals received medical care, while dental and eye clinics provided critical services, including 167 prescription glasses and treatment for many more. Children were ministered to, and lives were touched both physically and spiritually, with many responding to the Gospel. This outreach stands as a testament to what is possible through partnership, service, and faith in action.

To God be the glory for a truly impactful medical evangelistic mission in La.

The Christian Missions Resource Foundation (CMRF) expresses profound gratitude to Perez Chapel International, Revival Temple – La, and to the Senior Pastor, Apostle Dr Sylvia Owusu Ansah, as well as to the entire leadership and membership for their partnership, hospitality, and wonderful support.

Our sincere appreciation also extends to all CMRF volunteers, especially our President, Dr. Victor Etwire and the Elders, who joined the outreach. Your dedication, sacrifice, and professionalism made this outreach a remarkable success.

By the grace of God, the following were accomplished:

✅️125 children were ministered to by the Children's ministry team.

✅️ 75 people received care at the Dental Clinic.

✅️ The Eye Clinic dispensed 167 prescription glasses and 162 medications, alongside multiple consultations.

✅️ 381 individuals benefited from general medical consultation and free medical supplies.

✅️ Everyone present heard the Gospel, and decisions were made.

We give glory to God for the lives touched and transformed, and we celebrate every partner, doctor, nurse, paramedic, donor, and volunteer who made this mission a reality.
